In John 12:32, Jesus makes a profound and breathtaking promise: “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.”

While Christ’s invitation is universal, God never forces Himself upon us. He honors our free will. Tragically, as Jesus lamented in Matthew 23:37, most people choose to go their own way. They reject God’s offer of forgiveness and walk away from His gift of eternal life.

The drawing power of Jesus is an invitation, not a coercion. The cross is lifted high for all to see, but we must choose to look up, step forward, and surrender our lives to the One who died to save us.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the immense and unbreakable love demonstrated on the cross. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for being lifted up so that we might be drawn out of darkness and into Your marvelous light. We praise You that Your grace is not exclusive, and that Your arms are open wide to every nation, tribe, and tongue.

Forgive us for the times we try to go our own way. Help us to yield our lives completely to You today. We pray for those who have not yet responded to Your call; pierce their hearts with Your truth and let them feel the powerful draw of Your love.
