There are some nights that simply refresh your spirit and remind you of the beautiful community we share in Christ. Last night, Jennifer and I had the absolute joy of driving into Austin to the Riverbend Centre for An Evening with Candace Cameron Bure.
From 7:00 to 9:00 PM, the room was filled with an undeniable warmth. Listening to Candace share her heart, her journey, and her steadfast dedication to honoring God in all things was incredibly uplifting. It wasn’t just an event; it felt like a gathering of friends sharing stories of victory, struggles, and the grace that carries us through them all.
Sharing that time with Jennifer, surrounded by so many others seeking light and encouragement, was a sweet reminder of how God connects us. We left with full hearts, renewed faith, and deep gratitude for the reminder to stay anchored in His truth, no matter where our journeys lead.
A Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of fellowship and for nights that refresh our souls. Thank You for the opportunity Jennifer and I had to gather with others and be encouraged by a shared love for You. We praise You for voices that boldly share Your truth and remind us of Your constant goodness.
Lord, as we walk through seasons of change, downsizing, and new adventures, keep our steps firm. Help us to live transparently, sharing Your love in both our victories and our struggles. May our hearts always remain anchored in Your grace, and may our lives bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
